While many people look at retirement as a time to relax and do as little as possible, there are some that look at retirement with other eyes. Mr. Bill Anderson comes to mind. Mr. Anderson is a patient of mine and, on occasion, gets his picture posted in the newspapers. He does this by bicycling for long distances. How does a 777 mile bike ride make you feel? For Bill, he finds this a great way to celebrate his 77th birthday, the day he started the ride. Bill is hoping to get into the Guinness Book of World Records by accumulating the most miles in successive marathon bike rides for his age group.
