Mason Chiropractic, Subluxation, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome

Conclusions

Dr. Towbin discovered:

  1. That the cause of crib death could be traced in most cases to damage done to the spinal cord during orthodox birthing procedures.

  1. That Sudden Infant Death could also be traced to spinal cord or brain stem damage shortly thereafter.

  1. That due to direct trauma (including vertebral subluxation) at birth, the child experienced malfunction, less than optimum behavior, and a drastically reduced life span.

  1. Most of these problems could be avoided with an increased sensitivity to our birth process.

It is our opinion that these two research programs directly point to the need for regular chiropractic observation and evaluation of the spine and nerve systems from birth and throughout a life time.
